Alyse OpatowskiAlyse has worked to create social change as a Community Organizer at eight non profit and for profit organizations across the country. Her passion is creating stronger communities and building leaders to improve happiness and productivity. Her favorite aspect of community organizing is working with individuals in communities who are passionate about common issues and empowering them to find solutions to their challenges. Right out of college, she created a group of 15 volunteers who fought in Florida for over a year and successfully introduced legislation to label genetically modified foods. She is passionate about food, water, political and environmental issues.

This past year and a half, she has served as the Transbay Community Manager and have trained five of the seven current Community Managers in San Francisco, while contributing to the strategic growth of the fast-growing firm. Transbay, is the top performing and largest WeWork building (with seven floors and 1,451 members) on the West Coast. She brings together over 350 companies to collaborate and “do what they love”. Prior to WeWork, Alyse was the Campaign Manager for BART Director Nick Josefowitz (a first time candidate) interacting with over 70,000 voters, influencers, donors and politicians to create a common narrative. During Alyse’s time as Campaign Manager, she secured a win against the 24 year incumbent.
When Alyse believes in a mission and sets strategy and goals, she can help transform any organization. She promotes company culture and inspires co-workers, members and others to achieve their own successes with the over 420 companies she has worked with. Her greatest strengths lie in identifying people’s motivations and creating authentic relationships through both online and offline tools to succeed. |

Alyse was born in Denver, Colorado which sparked her love of the outdoors, mountains and growing up surrounded by her 30 first cousins sparked her natural ability to thrive and create community. She enjoys living in San Francisco as well as traveling and spend time with her family and friends.
